Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician. He was a member of One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where along with three fellow students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performance. He always had an interest in the arts, however he also wished to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. To support the needs of his children, he spent some time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. This meant that the group he was in had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. The group sang The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they made it to the finalist. The band was in the third spot after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid two million pounds in a contract for One Direction.
