Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is well-known for her role as the lead character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) and Precious (a dramatic). Her childhood was spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. A passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities, and was particularly fond of drama. She was a member of her class and took part in the school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided that acting was her chosen career. She went to in the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by the experience. She won an assignment for PBS to produce documentaries over 3 months. She began her career as a TV production assistant after completing this assignment. Later, she moved on to producing documentaries. While she was happy with her work however, she longed for being an actor. Her acting career began with an unimportant role with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. She has appeared since in a variety of films and television shows.
